Elizabeth Marshall’s research interests include children’s and young adult literature, life writing, graphic narratives, and popular culture. Her interdisciplinary scholarship critically examines representations of childhoods within texts produced for, marketed to, and/or consumed by youth. She has published on Little Red Riding Hood, schoolgirl activists in autobiographical picture books, monstrous teachers, and coming-of-age memoirs.
