Carole Brown
For C. Carol Brown, writing stories is giving voice to the lies she can't tell in person. She has been lying—er, writing—for as long as she can remember. Her poems have been published in Kola (Vol.9 No.1, 1997) and in sistahspeak (Vol.8 No. 1/2, 1995). She has written two editorials for the Toronto Star entitled “Merry at Christmas and Proud” (Dec. 8, 2003), and “Rebuilding a Culture of Pride” (Feb. 6, 2004).
