Anthony Burgess
John Anthony Burgess was born in 1917 in England. He is recognised as one of the most proliferous english writers of the latter half of the twentieth century, mostly thanks to his dystopian satire A Clockwork Orange. Although he also composed more than 250 musical works, he enjoyed considerably more success in writing.
