Sinossi

Learn how to interpret your own dreams

Our dreams are the mouthpiece of our subconscious. It is its means of expression to get in touch with us. You could also say that our innermost self tries to tell our conscious mind how we are feeling, what we should change and how we can feel better. However, the often confusing scenarios of dreams do not allow for a simple interpretation. Dreams are like a foreign language that we first have to translate.

The language of the subconscious

People realized very early on that dreams are not a coincidence, but a very individual processing of feelings and experiences. Far removed from all spiritual and magical interpretations, psychology has been studying these phenomena for as long as it has existed. Our dreams - whether they are beautiful or unpleasant - teach us how we really feel and what we should definitely change in our lives. Understanding them enriches our lives enormously.

Dream interpretation - is it just a crazy idea or serious science?

Unfortunately, dream interpretation has a reputation for being dubious and unscientific. This reputation is reinforced by the fact that the interpretations of dreams are extremely varied. There is rarely just one particular interpretation. The fact is, however, that dreams do not occur by chance. Our subconscious processes emotional states, experiences and adventures and expresses them visually. Your feelings during the dream and shortly after waking up always play an important role in the interpretation of your dreams. We often know whether it was a "nice" or "unpleasant" dream. Dream interpretation teaches us exactly why it was nice or unpleasant.

Based on his personal experience and the knowledge he has acquired on his journey as an entrepreneur, Diego Segura tells us how to focus on the excess in people's lives and transform it into a propellant to generate good habits and achieve abundance in various areas (emotional, economic, professional, family...).
In these pages, the author invites us to take a twist on the statement "Nothing in excess is good" and choose, instead, those positive excesses that will strengthen our goals and lead us towards a life of intensity based on good habits practiced in excess. From the first pages, Segura engages the reader in a journey of self-awareness and self-reflection; through the five chapters that make up the book ("Do I have intelligence or stupidity?", "Know yourself", "Do you live or survive?", "Dreams, wishes, and goals", and "Focus your excess"), the reader will pose and answer questions to get to know themselves better, and thus be able to define their purposes and focus their excess.
Under the philosophy that when you give selflessly and generously, sooner or later this is rewarded in abundance, Diego Segura decides to publish "Everything in excess is good" so that it is freely accessible to anyone interested in reading it.

    ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
In "Vox" by Christina Dalcher, the story is set in a near-future dystopian society where women are limited to speaking only one hundred words a day, using a device on their wrists that delivers an electric shock if they exceed this quota. The novel follows the journey of Dr. Jean McClellan, a former neuroscientist, as she navigates this oppressive environment. The narrative explores themes of misogyny and the suppression of women's voices. Jean's life is disrupted when she is forced to work for the government using her scientific expertise.

As Jean continues her work, she uncovers a sinister plot to use language deprivation as a means of social control. She joins with others, including her former colleagues, to resist this oppressive system. The story highlights the power of language and the devastating effects of its restriction. Her focus shifts from compliance to rebellion, as she fights for her family’s freedom and the restoration of her country’s previous social structure. Jean's character transformation is central to the plot, showing how oppression can lead to radical action.
