“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are. We can’t explain how they move, their trajectory. And so I think that people still take seriously, trying to investigate and figure out what that is.” Barack Obama, May 17, 2021, the “Late Late Show with James Corden".
Since 2017, UFOs are no longer considered fiction. Declared a "serious subject" by the Pentagon, they have now entered public debate on American, German and Japanese news channels. Passionate about ufology since his childhood, Egon Kragel is a great French specialist on the subject. He has dug up more than 150 UFO cases, some of which are fascinating and have captivated the international press, while others are more frightening and still raise questions. You’ll read about: - The hairy cone of Vins-sur-Caramy - The wave of foo fighters from the Second World War - The Belgian wave - Kenneth Arnold, the father of saucers - The Flatwoods monster - Malmstrom: deactivated missiles - The encounter of Herb Schirmer - The UFOs of the Hudson Valley - UFOs: Abductions in the sky - Betty Cash and Vickie Landrum: A scathing remake of Apocalypse Now - Colares: Deadly encounters in the Amazon - UFOs and Pilots: A two-step in the sky Egon Kragel is one of the great specialists in ufology in France. His work is recognized throughout the world, notably by his friend Jacques Vallée who inspired the director Stephen Spielberg for the film E.T. He wrote his first book Ovnis, Investigation of a State Secret. He participates in numerous conferences, appears regularly on television, and takes part in radio programs and podcasts.

Hiding the pain and disappointment of life in the drama of self-destructive behaviors, unhealthy relationships or stressful careers and lifestyles. Stuck in the limitations and repetitive cycle of circumstances beyond our control - unhappy, unfulfilled and isolated. For over a decade, Fiona Redding has been coaching and helping people from all walks of life to not only, once again dream big, but to have the audacity to succeed and become limitless. “When you shatter the myths and limitations of who you think you are… you transform into a limitless force of power and potential, free to live a life beyond your wildest dreams.” In It is Possible, Fiona Redding presents the tools, resources and mindset shifts that took her (and her clients) journey from being “just a little happier” to being, doing and having more than they believed was possible. When daring to dream big, you will face adversity and resistance. At a time in antiquity when most of Europe was covered with forests and wandering tribes, Mexico had already developed complex civilizations, beginning with the Olmecs and followed by the Maya, a civilization with advanced knowledge of medicine, engineering and astronomy. The Maya calculated the precession of the equinoxes and cycles of the Pleiades, on which they based their year, since they believed they had come from that constellation. The last, and perhaps most famous, great civilization before the arrival of the Europeans was the Aztecs.
With so many ancient peoples whose influence, beliefs, and modifications to the landscape extend to the present day, Mexico is fertile land for legends, ghosts, surprising places, and mysteries. A belief in communing with things that lie beyond (stars, constellations, and life after death), mysticism, and apparitions are intimately woven into the colorful fabric of the Mexican nation.
As for the United States, many Americans think the land has always had a dark side and a strange side. Monsters and ghosts lurk in its woods and old houses, and strange monuments that may be from a forgotten civilization puzzle local investigators. All the while, the early inhabitants themselves were always superstitious, as evidenced by history’s most famous witch trials.
Canada has the reputation of being a boring place, but dig a little below the surface, and you’ll find a different Canada, a stranger Canada, one of murder, mystery, and paranormal experiences. The stories that follow will show that Canada, far from being a dull, staid nation where nothing much happens, is an epicenter of the mysterious.
Mysterious North America: Mysteries, Legends, and Unexplained Phenomena across the United States, Mexico, and Canada offers a vast compendium of strange, unexplained, and just plain odd stories across North America’s various regions.

    ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"One for the Money" by Janet Evanovich follows Stephanie Plum, an unemployed woman who becomes a bounty hunter to make ends meet. Her first assignment is to bring in Joseph Morelli, a former flame accused of murder. However, the case quickly becomes more complicated as Stephanie faces threats from the dangerous boxer, Benito Ramirez, and a local drug operation. She forms an alliance with Morelli, and learns about the local drug trade and a Jamaican posse named Striker, as well as uncovering that Sal's Butcher Shop is involved in the drug operation. Through this, Stephanie grows as she learns to use a gun, and understands her own courage and resourcefulness. The story blends humor with suspense, exploring themes of family, community, and the moral dilemmas of violence.
