The author describes both how the work emerged from its Welsh historical context and was related to the art of other cultures. Revealing the many discoveries made since its first publication of the Visual Culture of Wales series in 1998, The Tradition is the only study now in print that encompasses the whole field of Welsh visual art. It is published with the support of the National Museum of Wales, The Paul Mellon Foundation, the National Library of Wales, the Marc Fitch Fund, Swansea University and the Welsh Book Council.

She was known for her 1972 hardcore film debut, Behind the Green Door, and her 1980 film Insatiable. She is ranked as one of the top porn stars of all-time. Although she was primarily known for her adult film work, she made a successful transition to mainstream projects and has been called "porn's most famous crossover." The following recordings are from 1977 and 1981 television interviews.

  Best known for his role in Gone with the Wind (1939), Clark Gable had a unique appeal that captivated Depression-era audiences, while portraying tough guys and gangsters in the 1930s that turned James Cagney into a massive Hollywood star.
