Beschreibung

In "On the Red Staircase," Mary Imlay Taylor masterfully weaves a poignant narrative exploring the complexities of familial relationships against a backdrop of social change in post-war America. The book employs a lyrical yet accessible prose style, filled with rich imagery and evocative symbols, particularly centered around the eponymous red staircase, which serves as a significant metaphor for both ascent and descent in personal growth and familial bonds. Taylor's work is situated within the context of mid-20th-century American literature, drawing upon themes of identity, loss, and the pursuit of belonging that resonate deeply with the era's shifting cultural landscapes. Mary Imlay Taylor, an accomplished novelist and poet, channels her experiences growing up in a dynamic family through the lens of her writing. Born into a world marked by the echoes of war and societal transformation, her reflections on her own life and familial dynamics have shaped her storytelling. Taylor is known for her ability to capture the subtleties of human emotion, providing readers insight into the intricacies of life, love, and the passage of time. This book is of my walk and awakening on this earth with The Creator and the Goddess of Care, the Sacred Feminine, The Holy Spirit. Opening my eyes and heart to The Creator has given me insight into who the Sons were before me. You must want this walk for yourself. You must “Ask, Seek and Knock.” The Creator is waiting with open arms. You must do your homework by dividing the Word of the god(s). You will not remain the same. No man can give you the understanding that comes through The Spirit within you. The Natural Laws of The Creator were given to you at birth. These Rights are not created by humans but are your birthright endowed to you by the Creator of the Universe. They are your inheritance. We were many from one but have become one from many, a democracy. The only way out of the deception is through word of mouth, one to another. “No man can serve two masters, for he will hate the one and love the other.”
The Great Work is to end slavery. This should be a shared responsibility to help in awakening others. Speaking the truth unapologetically even when we feel burdened and/or uncomfortable.
Until the conversation changes from, race, religion, education/indoctrination, media/entertainment, politics, and government we will not be freed of the deception in our minds and of our times.
Come as a Son (male or female).
“Greater is He that is in you than the deception that is in the World.”
If I can help anyone with this information, my awakening will not have been in vain. I am a living testimony to the Spirit, the Consciousness of The Creator which will reign forever and ever.

Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is a Gothic novella by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, first published in 1886. The work is also known as The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, or simply Jekyll and Hyde. The novella follows Gabriel John Utterson, a London legal practitioner who investigates a series of strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll, and a murderous criminal named Edward Hyde. It is revealed at the end of the novella that Jekyll and Hyde are the same person, with Jekyll transforming into Hyde via an unnamed chemical concoction to live out his darker urges.
Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is one of the most famous pieces of English literature, and is considered to be a defining book of the gothic horror genre. The novella has also had a sizable impact on popular culture, with the phrase "Jekyll and Hyde" being used in vernacular to refer to people with an outwardly good but sometimes shockingly evil nature.

Coparenting is easy for Elias and Amanda. Having sex is even easier. When Amanda begins to feel the tether of their bond loosen, she prepares for things to change between her and her baby’s daddy, though her heart has always belonged to him.

For Elias, Amanda was too shallow to take seriously as a romantic partner. However, lust joined them for life because of their son. He’s sure they will always be friends and nothing more, until a failed romantic relationship shows him the woman that’s always been by his side—Amanda.

For Amanda, it has taken years to accept that she will never be Elias’s type. Though she’s matured over the years, he’s never been interested in getting to know the layers that have rippled beneath her surface—until a sure thing backfires in his face.

Now that Elias has Amanda in his vision, she’s finally detached from the thought of a relationship with him. Will her redemptive changes work in their romantic favor, or will she prove the adage of appreciating what you have when it’s gone?
