Synopsis

Heavenly Delights opened three years ago, manned by the hunky baker Dakota Webb. The very man who's managed to snag the affections of postman Scott Marsh. He stops by the bakery every morning, hoping one day he might get up the nerve to express his feelings, especially with his birthday coming.
But Dakota has other things on his mind, like trying to come up with the perfect wedding cake for a woman known to be picky and bitter. Unfortunately, when things don't work out quite as he hoped, Scott begins to fear Dakota will once again hit the road.
So he makes one final wish for his birthday ...

Agent Ignacio Ritter is happy serving the CXO, the Central Xenomorph Organization, from the safety of his desk. He has good reasons for avoiding field work like the plague: his parents died in the field, leaving him to be raised among wolf-shifters. Because of his adopted family, everyone thinks he is a wolf, a lie that protects him from the ridicule he'd face if he revealed the truth.
When the charming and dangerous tiger-shifter Agent Reed Daily chooses Ignacio to help close the book on a gang threatening to tear Chicago apart, Ignacio can't refuse. Perhaps it's the chance to avenge his parents, or perhaps it's the tight fit of Reed's suit and heat Reed's smile ignites in Ignacio. When the chips are down and whole city's depending on him, will Ignacio prove himself man or ...

Two heroes. One has made his name in the cold, while the other has spent a lifetime twisting unseen forces. They want the same thing, but they're on opposite sides. Can a teleportation accident help them find what they've each been missing all along?

Gin got his code name because his namesake liquor lives in the freezer, just like him. He can control ice to an extent never seen before, and he uses that power to help keep the world safe from those who would use their power for evil. He knows he's got a tremendous ability to destroy, and it's important to keep himself rigidly under control at all times. His work in Alter Enforcement brings him into direct conflict with vigilante alters, who may want to help people but refuse to be accountable in how they go about it.

Smoke doesn't trust "authority figures" and he definitely doesn't trust the government. He didn't trust them before the terrorist attacks that created Alters in the first place, and he sure doesn't trust them now. He's not going to let government Alters stop him from taking out dangerous super-villains in the name of procedure. Sometimes that means he has to fight people who should be on his side, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

When Gin's team and Smoke's team trip over each other trying to take out a notorious super villain, disaster follows. A teleportation accident strands Gin and Smoke together far away from each of their teams. They have to rely on each other for safety ... and maybe more.

I have one rule to live by: Don't Date a DILF.

I've seen the consequences of blurring the boundaries between teaching life and dating life, and I'm not about to take that kind of risk.

But I didn't count on Hunter Rhodes walking into my school. Never expected that the broad-shouldered, stubble-jawed, absolute glory of a man would be such a sweet and caring father. Or that as a seemingly straight man, he might decide he wants me.

If my Nana has her way . . . I'll be in love with someone by the end of the school year, but there's only one man who tempts me. With her matchmaking in overdrive and half the single women in Granville setting their sights on Hunter, faking a relationship could give us both a reprieve, but at what cost?

It might be fun and games for Hunter, but separating pretend feelings from real won't be so simple for me. And then there's that rule . . .

Can I date a DILF without disaster—or will all my fears come true?

    Contains mature themes.

Jared Page and Joey Seever have a complicated relationship. They're ex-lovers and former band members who still play together musically on occasion. Whenever Joey needs someone to fill in for a gig, Jared is the one he calls, despite their past history and the fact that Joey hadn't wanted to take their relationship to the next level -- marriage -- and then cheated on him. Jared still has feelings for Joey even after all these years, though he's become bitter and resentful.
The next time Jared fills in for a gig, he finds out that Joey has slept with a band member named Grady. Worse, Joey messed things up by cheating on Grady just like he had with Jared. In the fallout that follows, Jared says and does some things he instantly regrets.
He knows their friendship is worth saving, and he wants another chance at Joey's heart, too. But there are things in Joey's past that keep him running from commitment. Can they mend their relationship? Will Jared be able to convince Joey that love is nothing to fear, and marriage is just music to which to say, "I Do?"
