  Shelley is one of the most revered figures in the English poetical landscape.   Born on the 4th August 1792 he has, over the years, become rightly regarded as a major Romantic poet.  Yet during his own lifetime little of his work was published. Publishers feared his radical views and possible charges against themselves for blasphemy and sedition.  On 8th July 1822 a month before his 30th birthday, during a sudden storm, his tragic early death by drowning robbed our culture of many fine expected masterpieces. But in his short spell on earth he weaved much magic.  In this collection Shelley’s words are alive with intent, meaning and emotion. A true poet for all our ages.

  First performed at Summerhall during the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Haley McGee's one-person play was produced by Soho Theatre and directed by Adam Brace. Each performance was shaped by random selections made by the audience. This published edition, illustrated by Jason Logan, contains the full text of the play and offers readers a complete experience, as well as a blueprint for future performances.

  Arthur Macy was a Nantucket boy of Quaker extraction. His name alone is evidence of this, for it is safe to say that a Macy, wherever found in the United States, is descended from that sturdy old Quaker who was one of those who bought Nantucket from the Indians, paid them fairly for it, treated them with justice, and lived on friendly terms with them. In many ways Arthur Macy showed that he was a Nantucketer and, at least by descent, a Quaker. He often used phrases peculiar to our island in the sea, and was given, in conversation at least, to similes which smacked of salt water. Almost the last time I saw him he said, "I'm coming round soon for a good long gam."Arthur Macy's view of life was certainly broad and generous, with a philosophic flavor.
