Synopsis

Our love was a secret, forbidden, and then I went and screwed it all up. 
Eight years ago, Baine Landry was a young, naïve boy in love with his best friend’s little sister. He knew she was off limits, but that hadn’t stopped him from succumbing to her innocent, and sometimes not-so-innocent charm. Sure, Olivia was five years younger, but she was about to come of age and he foolish thought her family would accept him. He was wrong. His biggest regret in life would always be confiding in his best friend, her brother. 
Today, Baine is a sexy explosives loving bear shifter and proud part of Westin Force Bravo team. Demolition is his expertise. He loves his life, but a part of him always feels missing. During the daylight hours smiles and jokes are his defense to cover the pain he still harbors. But in the night, she still haunts his every dream. 
Olivia Murphy had loved only one man in her life. Her heart still belonged to him. Eight years ago he’d disappeared without a word. Her father explained he had chosen to leave, but she never believed it. He had left before she could tell him the secret she carried. 
The last seven years hadn’t been easy on Olivia – single mom, beauty school, starting a business. It was all worth it though and she was proud of her accomplishments. 
They can’t redefine the past, but when a new mission to save the Clan from a Raglan threat brings Baine back to town, he discovers he left more behind than he thought. There are many obstacles still in their path. It won’t be easy, but they might just have a second chance at love. Or will the pain and betrayal of the past be too much for true love to conquer?
