Beschreibung

What Is Cognitive Architecture

The term "cognitive architecture" can refer to both a theory about the structure of the human mind as well as a computational implementation of such a theory that is utilized in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and computational cognitive science. The term "cognitive architecture" can also be used interchangeably with "psychological architecture." The formalized models can be utilized both for the purpose of further refining an all-encompassing theory of cognition as well as for the development of a practical artificial intelligence program. The ACT-R and SOAR cognitive architectures are examples of successful cognitive architectures. Allen Newell is credited as being the one who first started the research on cognitive architectures as a software implementation of cognitive theories in the year 1990.

A Christian case for natural burial
The promises of the Christian gospel are never more precious or more beautiful than in the context of death and burial. And yet current burial practices in Western society are archaic and impersonal. They fail to confront us with the reality of death, and they make it harder to process death or to grieve properly.
Kent Burreson and Beth Hoeltke have been teaching a Christian understanding of death and natural burial for many years. They argue that natural burial—laying the body into the earth in a way that allows it to decompose naturally—is not only better for the environment but is also a more accurate picture of Christian hope of the resurrection. Grounded in sound Christian teaching about death and burial, they advocate for natural burial and offer practical instructions for navigating the complex questions around burial practices.
Lay Me in God's Good Earth is not only an immensely practical guide to natural burial; it is also an application of the hope of the resurrection to those grieving the loss of their loved ones.

Have you ever seen a LadyBug and wondered what the cute little bug with the dots on her back was thinking? And why she seemed in such a rush? Well here is your chance to peek into her thoughts and enjoy some of her daily triumphs and disasters. "Little Mrs. Ladybug was a worker. Nobody could deny that. To be sure, she had to stop now and then to talk to her neighbors, because Mrs. Ladybug dearly loved a bit of gossip. At the same time there wasn't anyone in Pleasant Valley that helped Farmer Green more than she did. She tried her hardest to keep the trees in the orchard free from insects. Some of her less worthy neighbors were known sometimes to say with a sniff, "If Mrs. Ladybug didn't enjoy her work she wouldn't care about helping Farmer Green. If she hadn't such a big appetite she'd stop to chat even more than she does now." (Summary by the book and phil chenevert)
