This immune dysregulation is often the root cause of many rheumatic conditions, and understanding the immune mechanisms at play is crucial for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. The immune response can lead to chronic inflammation, tissue damage, and, over time, the destruction of joints and other vital structures. In some cases, the underlying cause is still not fully understood, which makes the diagnosis and management of these conditions complex.
