Summary

Talera is a world of warriors and heroes, not all of them human, a world where sailing ships ply the skies as well as the waters, and where beasts are as likely to hunt men as be hunted by them. On Talera, beauty and steel are equally dangerous companions, and sorcery is the deadliest of them all. Ruenn Maclang is a 19th-century Earthman mysteriously transported to this wondrous world. His sword is his constant companion, and war a daily promise that is seldom broken. But now he must battle the woman he loves, and either kill his own brother-or die in the attempt! A grand fantasy adventure in the tradition of Edgar Rice Burroughs and Robert E. Howard!
Available since: 12/13/2022.

The sparrows dance. A ghost whispers. And the forgotten powers of the saints rise again.
The first World War rages across Europe, and in the wreckage of The Refuge, Lily and her allies struggle to find their way through the aftermath of a devastating loss.
For Sam Wu, it’s a path that leads him back to Limehouse, where he must face the greatest danger of his own past on a desperate quest for revenge.
For Lily, it’s a remote seaside manor where a military officer is strangely and brutally murdered—with Lord Strangford named the only possible suspect.
But the dead man wasn’t who he seemed to be. A game of secrets is being played at the highest echelons of the empire, drawing Lily along a trail of lies from the bombarded coast of Yorkshire to the haunted shell of the place she once called home—while a brilliant and relentless police inspector hounds her every move.
To reach the heart of it—and find the real killer—she must pull together friends scattered by loss and conflict, pushing the limits of an arcane gift that she is far from understanding. The fate of the war might just hang in the balance… along with the life of the man Lily loves.
A vase will fall. A friend will be betrayed. And nothing is what it seems.
Return to the arcane world of The London Charismatics as this riveting historical fantasy series continues with Bridge of Ash. This book also includes the special bonus Charismatics novella, A Wrath of Sparrows.

Follow the love story between a ghost and an exorcist in this omnibus edition of the Spirit Suitor trilogy.
Maggie Hathorn is the spirit of a socialite who is determined to redeem the sins of her past by spending her afterlife solving crimes in turn-of-the-century Manhattan. Reverend Coronado is a young exorcist whose life is turned upside down the moment he is first possessed by Maggie’s vivacious spirit. Navigating a budding romance that crosses the boundaries between life and death is challenging enough in its own right. But when a string of crimes suggest that demonic forces are allying themselves to human bigotry and threatening the beautifully diverse communities of New York City, Maggie and Coronado will need to use their union to bring the spirit and human worlds together in a fight against evil. Solving murders and banishing demons together makes for an unusual courtship, but nothing could be more important to this spirit and her suitor than protecting the city they both cherish.
Revisit familiar characters from Leanna Renee Hieber’s Spectral City trilogy with this new companion series that proves it’s never too late to fall in love!

"The Silver Key" is a fantasy short story by American writer H. P. Lovecraft. Written in 1926, it is considered part of his Dreamlands series. It was first published in the January 1929 issue of Weird Tales. It is a continuation of "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath", and was followed by a sequel, "Through the Gates of the Silver Key", co-written with E. Hoffmann Price. The story and its sequel both feature Lovecraft's recurring character of Randolph Carter as the protagonist. Randolph Carter discovers, at the age of 30, that he has gradually "lost the key to the gate of dreams." Randolph once believed life is made up of nothing but pictures in memory, whether they be from real life or dreams. He highly prefers his romantic nightly dreams of fantastic places and beings to the "prosiness of life". He believes his dreams to reveal truths missing from man's waking ideas, regarding the purpose of humans and the universe, primary among these being the truth of beauty as perceived and invented by humans in times past. As he ages, though, he finds that his daily waking exposure to the more "practical", scientific ideas of man has eroded his ability to dream as he once did and has made him, regretfully, subscribe more and more to the mundane beliefs of everyday, waking "real life". But, still not certain which is truer, he sets out to determine whether the waking ideas of man are superior to his dreams, and in the process, he passes through several unsatisfying philosophical stances. Discouraged, he eventually withdraws from these lines of inquiry, and goes into seclusion.
