Synopsis

Coimbatore city is rocked by two terrorist bomb blasts. The mastermind behind them is Karuppasamy who has escaped police custody and joined a terrorist group as a 'consultant'. He sends letters to the Police commissioner's office in advance through courier, giving hints about the upcoming blasts. He demands the release of the arrested terrorist leader Shahul Iqbal. Two more blasts were in the offing. Did the police succumb? Did they trace the location of Karuppusamy? What is the role of the young college-going son of a Police officer who lies in bed recovering from gun-shots, in the complex process of investigations? Did the police thwart the subsequent bomb blasts?

கோயம்புத்தூர் நகரம் அடுத்தடுத்த இரண்டு தீவிரவாத வெடிகுண்டுகளால் அதிர்கிறது. தீவிரவாதிகளுக்குப் பின்னால் மூளையாக இருந்து செயல்படுபவன் கருப்பசாமி. போலீஸ் காவலில் இருந்து தப்பித்த அவன், வெடி குண்டு வைப்பதற்கு அந்த பயங்கரவாதக் குழுவுக்கு 'ஆலோசகராக' இருக்கிறான். போலீசை சீண்டும் விதத்தில் , வரவிருக்கும் குண்டுவெடிப்பு பற்றிய குறிப்புகளைக் முன்கூட்டியே தந்து , போலீஸ் கமிஷனர் அலுவலகத்திற்குக் கூரியர் மூலம் கடிதங்கள் அனுப்புகிறான். கைது செய்யப்பட்ட பயங்கரவாதத் தலைவன் 'ஷாகுல் இக்பாலை' விடுதலை செய்ய கோருகிறான்.

மேலும் இரு குண்டுவெடிப்புகள் நிகழ இருக்கின்றன. போலீசார் அடிபணிந்தார்களா? அவர்கள் கருப்புசாமியின் இருப்பிடத்தைக் கண்டறிந்தார்களா? போலீஸ் விசாரணைகளின் மூலம் துப்புத் துலக்குவதில், துப்பாக்கிச் சூட்டில் இருந்து மீண்டு படுக்கையில் கிடக்கும் ஒரு காவல்துறை அதிகாரியின் இளம் மகனான கல்லூரி மாணவனின் பங்கு என்ன? அடுத்தடுத்த குண்டுவெடிப்புகளை காவல்துறை முறியடித்ததா?
