Synopsis

சல்மாவின் நாவல் முழுமையாகப் பெண்ணுலகத்தால் நிரம்பியிருக்கிறது. புற உலகம் அறியாத பெண்களின் உள் உலகத்தை விரிக்கும் எழுத்து. துயர் நிரம்பிய உள்ளுக்குள் பெருகும் உணர்வுகளையும் அவற்றில் இருந்து காலத்தின் கைப்பிடித்துத் தாங்களாகவே கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக வெளியே வரும் திறனையும் இயல்பாகக் காட்டிச் செல்கிறது நாவல். அவர்கள் உலகமும் மொழியும் புதிது. மரபான மனங்களுக்கு அவ்வளவாக உவப்பில்லாமல் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் மரபின் போர்வையில் மறைக்கப்பட்ட ஓர் உலகம் வெளியாகும்போது பொங்கிப் பெருகும் உடைப்பைத் தவிர்க்க இயலாது. இந்நாவலில் நிகழ்வதும் அத்தகைய ஒரு பிரவாகம்தான்.
