Synopsis

The Fifth Puppy is a novel by Jasbir Bhullar, translated by Ashraf Suhail. Chubby little puppies are companions of childhood and feel like living toys. Children often find these puppies wandering through streets, lanes, and the ruins of old houses. Sometimes, the puppies come to the children on their own. Biskiti the dog and The Fifth Puppy’s hero, Ahmed, also finds a lively puppy named Moti in the same way. The two become friends, and their friendship lasts for a long time. Biskiti the dog plays a motherly role. The adventures of Ahmed and Moti are both interesting and educational.
