Synopsis

'संस्कृत सुभाषिते' म्हणजे थोड्या शब्दात मांडलेला मोठा आशय. ते त्या भाषेतील अलंकार आहेत. पण अनेकांना संस्कृत येत नाही. मग त्यांनी या सुभाषितांचा आस्वाद कसा घ्यावा? त्यासाठी सौ. गोखले व त्यांच्या अन्य दोन महिला सहकाऱ्यांनी चांगली सोय करून दिली आहे. मूळ संस्कृत सुभाषित, त्याचा संधिविग्रह, मराठीत अर्थ आणि त्यावर आधारित एक कथा अशी छान मांडणी त्यांनी या पुस्तकात केली आहे. 
'Sanskrit Subhashite' means big content in few words. They are the ornaments of that language. But many do not know Sanskrit. So how should they enjoy these Subhasitas? For that Mrs. Gokhale and his two other female colleagues have provided good facilities. In this book, he has arranged the original Sanskrit Subhashit, its sandhivigraha, meaning in Marathi and a story based on it.
