This book explores the cultural history of Fort Kochi - Mattanchery, the boiling pot of over 30 immigrant communities that speak atleast 16 different languages other than Malayalam. This is a collection of essays that sets out to find the symbols of legacy from the oral history which is ordinarily lost to touch and vision.
