  شاعر وفنّان تشكيلي ألماني من أصول سورية، من مواليد دمشق 1965. يُدير مهرجان صالون الشِّعر الألماني العربي الذي أسّسه عام 2005، إلى جانب عمله كـ كاتب ومترجم أدبي (كَتَبَ في الشِّعر والقصّة للأطفال والكبار)، يكتب للصحافة الألمانية ويُحاضر في الفنون المعماريّة ويُدرِّس اللغة الألمانيّة. صدر له إلى الآن أكثر من 40 عنواناً تتوزّع بين كتبه الخاصة وترجماته وإصداراته في صالون الشِّعر. له دواوين شِعريّة عديدة، آخرها ديوان «التعب الأزرق» وفي هذا العام سيصدر له ديوانان، واحد بالألمانية وآخر بالعربيّة. تُرجمت قصائده إلى عدّة لغات.

  العشق كامن في النّفوس، يسكننا، يحركنا، فما من مخْلوق إلا عمره عشق. فالعشق يسري بين أرجاء الكون وفي ثناياه؛ يحيط بجملة الموجودات فلا يستثني منها شيئاً؛ بدءاً من المخلوقات النباتية البسيطة التي تتوق إلى سقيها، مروراً بالمخلوقات الحيوانية التي يتجلى العشق فيها على صورته الفطرية، وصولاً إلى الإنسان؛ ذاك الذي تتجسد فيه صورة العشق الإلهي بوصفه تلك الصورة القصوى من صور العشق. والعشق الذي يخبرنا عنه ابن سينا في هذه الرسالة هو مزيج من العشق بمفهومه الشائع بين عامة الناس، والعشق الصوفي الذي يتجلى في التوحد مع الله، وما بين هذا وذاك ينكشف المعنى الفلسفي للعشق عند ابن سينا؛ فما من موجود عنده إلا وهو ثمرة من ثمرات عشقه للخير الأسمى وشوقه إليه.
