Abbiamo trascorso più di due mesi in Nuova Caledonia e se all'inizio non eravamo molto entusiasti all’idea di scrivere una guida a riguardo, abbiamo cambiato idea gradualmente scoprendo delle vere e proprie gemme su queste isole fantastiche e così belle. È vero che dopo aver vissuto per tre anni in Martinica e le sue splendide spiagge, pensavamo che avremmo trovato gli stessi posti qui e siamo rimasti un po' delusi. Tuttavia, siamo riusciti a trovare spiagge meravigliose e lagune mozzafiato... quindi “pazienza” è una delle parole chiave in Nuova Caledonia.
 
Per quanto riguarda la natura, ci ha conquistato fin dall'inizio con la sua incredibile diversità, forse la più ricca che abbiamo mai incontrato finora. Pertanto, se hai la pazienza di leggere fino alla fine e vedere alcune delle nostre foto, capirai da solo che la Nuova Caledonia è davvero un'isola che vale il viaggio. La Nuova Caledonia è un arcipelago formato da un'isola principale, chiamata Grande Terre, lunga 400 km e larga 50 km, e più di 140 isole. Una delle più conosciute è la splendida Île-des-Pins (Isola dei Pini) ma ci sono anche le Isole della Lealtà a est: Ouvéa, Lifou e Maré.

On October 12th the package arrives and the inspectors of the Argentinian police compare the fingerprints with the ones smudged on Guevara's journals―they match. The hands of the comandante suddenly disappeared and Fidel Castro wants answers; he actually does not believe that his compaňero is dead; the truth was kept secret for over forty years, because the three Argentinian were not authorized to speak. Immediately after the autopsy, the pictures of the cadaver riddled with bullets are published by every newspaper around the globe; the eyes of the comandante are wide open, as they are fixating the sky, his expression is dramatic, his body is statuary, he doesn't look dead at all, just deep in his thoughts, contemplating his next revolution.
