Beschreibung

I have had depression and anxiety on and off for 10 years. When I am depressed I write poems and my thoughts about them. This book is a collection of real and wild thoughts, phrases, and poems, which reveal the fragility and difficulty of living with depression and mental illness that have been with you for a long time. This illness causes unpleasant effects on your daily life and relationships with people you love. If you’re reading this, I really want you to know that you’re not alone, in fighting against it. A lot of people are also suffering and wrestling against the darkness of thoughts quietly with no one truly understanding what they’re encountering. I’m so happy to share my stories, and I hope this book will make at least a person feel less alone. Sometimes it is tough to speak out or share our true feelings because we always care for our image and are afraid that others will look at us as the weakling. This book is meant to be your little company when you want to express your wild, true feelings, which will let you feel unleashed and more comfortable.

Emma Woodhouse thinks she has it all figured out. Fresh from Oxford University and back in her hometown for the summer, she's ready to do what she does best: sort out everyone else's lives, whether they like it or not.
Her closest friend Harriet is a total dating disaster, her father keeps disappearing on mysterious errands, and George Knightley refuses to stop pointing out the flaws in her flawless plans. But Emma knows best... right?
Emma is Jane Austen's timeless classic of romance, friendship, and the tricky business of figuring out what truly makes us happy. Ava Pickett's irresistible adaptation joyously pulls the story into the twenty-first century, swapping drawing-room duets for dance-floor fillers. It premiered at Rose Theatre, Kingston upon Thames, in 2025, directed by Christopher Haydon.

Here are eight fundamental works by one of the few greatest English poets: three lyric pieces, Songs of Innocence, The Book of Thel, Songs of Experience; the prose satire An Island in the Moon, the mystical prose poem The Marriage of Heaven & Hell, and three visionary poems: The French Revolution, Visions of the Daughters of Albion, America, a Prophecy. William Blake (1757-1827) is one of the great relevant figures of his time, who like Beethoven in music bridges the classical and romantic, remaining himself uncategorizable.
