  The narrative is about Lewis L. McKinsey a wealthy businessman who reminisces of his past. Initially, the saga describes business reality. Then later deliberately unfolds into encumbered details reminiscing of the protagonist coming of age; by exploring varied vibrant, profound glimpses of exuberant youthful experiences, especially, when visiting the Jersey Shore, which occurred long before his college days, and successful career apparatus. Imagine the beauty of the New Jersey seashore, back in the fifties, which some may remember; considering that many old-timers today would resonate with hearing an old song while walking the boardwalk at the New Jersey Shore, and that song was “Those Wildwood days” by Bobby Rydell. Lewis surmised that even today that memorable song is still being played; however, back in the day, the melody seemed to have held more reverence. In those days hanging out with his friends and consuming cases of Cold Duck, provides somewhat of a lens into their rebellious ways, and meeting wayward women; whom they thought was the greatest thing since sliced bread. 
  The intentional purpose of this narrative is to provide an absorbing whimsical tale of a wealthy man who deliberately reflects on humbler times. This may be considered somewhat of a rags-to-riches saga. Witness how Lewis derives his obvious present conclusion while illustrating how he arrived at being a Wall Street contender. 
    
  This exposition entails elements of love, unavoidable challenges; and graceful benevolent experiences which contributed to an enhanced life well lived on purpose

  Tam O'Shanter A Tale - This...

  Many nations have produced outstanding poets who they would gladly have represent their Culture.  But can any Nation say they have an equivalent of Robbie Burns?  Rabbie. The Ploughman Poet.  The Bard (Of Scotland).  This one poet is indelibly linked and intertwined with the culture and people of Scotland.  His life, loves, politics, verse and songs speak as them and for them.  
  From humble roots, the eldest son of seven born in 1759 to parents, both from tenant farming stock, the family endured both hardship and poverty.   Burns endured the test and began to write first at 15 and to publish his first volume some two years later.    
  He wrote in both true Scottish, dialect and English as well as turning his hand to song.  Politically he was an inspiration to both liberalism and socialism as well as a Scottish parliament.  His unique ability enabled him to appeal to all and quite rightly to be viewed as the National poet.    
  As well as creating his own great works he was also an avid collector of Scottish Folk Songs preserving for posterity the works of others.  
  However his own life was short dying at the young age of only 37.   What further greatness would have lain before him is impossible to say.  But, poetically, on the day of his death his son, Maxwell was born.    
  His fame today is worldwide and celebrated in January each year with the Traditional Burns night.  Each New Years Eve friends and families the world over link arms to ‘Auld Lang Syne’, giving immortality to his words and aims.  
  As former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan says:  Burn’s poems dignify and illuminate the struggle faced by the vast majority of the world’s population today.

  The Soul´s Journey Home is a collection of poems borne out of a spiritual journey brought about due to the pandemic a few years ago. The resulting awakening provided me with the answers to many questions I was unsure about with regards to faith and spirituality and the discovery can have widespread benefits within every aspect of a persons life. The purpose of my poetry is to encourage curiosity within the reader and convey how our answers are well within our reach and closer than we might have imagined.

  A Fold in the Map

  A Fold in the Map charts two very different voyages: a tracing of the dislocations of leaving one's native country, and a searching exploration of grief at a father's final painful journey. In the first part of the collection, Plenty — "before the fold" — the poems deal with family, and longing for home from a new country, with all the ambiguity and doubleness this perspective entails. In the book's second half, Meet My Father, the poems recount events more life-changing than merely moving abroad — a father's illness and death, the loss of some of the plenty of the earlier poems.
