  I hate to be the one to tell you...

  It's a shame, isn't it, to have to rat on your neighbours? Upsetting to find out that both your husband and the dog have been telling you lies? And I hate to be the one to tell you this, but there are bad people everywhere, at large, going about their business. Financial insolvents on online-dating sites, contortionist plumbers with a point to prove, and a bloke named Barry, from Halifax, who is singlehandedly ruining the livelihoods of perfectly legitimate psychics.
  It's not all bad news though, there are sham marriages to look forward to, ducklings to be held captive by, and that dog, well, you can always put him up for sale. Life, I'm afraid, is based on nothing more than slippery moorings, and this debut pamphlet breaks the bad news with humour and a twist of darkness.
  The poems in this collection erupt with beauty and emotional resonance. These are graceful meditations on human relationships with each other and with themselves. The voice of the poet is strikingly unique, but there are also moments when it seems to be coming from within us, from the place of personal wonder: 'Outside a wood-pigeon coos monotonously / its slung together nest is hidden from view, / just like your knickers are, mostly, / and your feelings about your mother.' – Romalyn Ante, co-judge of the International Book & Pamphlet Competition

  Prince Hal parts from his past to fulfill his royal destiny, in this essential conclusion to Henry IV, Part 1. 
  Rebellion still simmers in England and King Henry's health is failing. Prince Hal has proved his courage but the king still fears that his son's pleasure-loving nature will bring the realm to ruin. Meanwhile, Falstaff and his ribald companions waste the nights in revelry, anticipating the moment when Hal will ascend the throne. Falstaff is in Gloucestershire when news arrives that the king has died. Has the dissolute old knight's hour come at last? 
  Hal is played by Jamie Glover and King Henry by Julian Glover. Richard Griffiths is Falstaff.

  Thor's Hammer

  When the British Government turn down a revolutionary weapons system in favour of the new Euro fighter they don't realise the wrath their decision will cause. The only radar system capable of detecting the new Thor's Hammer is the experimental Spyglass system being transported on a cruise liner commanded by ex-Navy Captain Eric Swanson. Martin Westfarland, designer of Thor's Hammer, decides to teach the British Government a lesson by sinking the liner and destroying Spyglass before passing Thor's Hammer onto the Iraqis who plan to use it to deliver a deadly bio-weapon to the west. Through a series of action-filled events, Swanson and Squadron Leader Gerry Denton are brought together to thwart the terrorist attack, while the SAS are assigned to locate and destroy the chemical lab in the Syrian Desert, which created the virus. Unfortunately the virus has already been loaded onto Thor's Hammer. Thus it falls to Denton to fly the Typhoon Euro fighter against the faster and stealthier Thor's Hammer before it can deliver its deadly payload.

  A Clever Man :: 
  This poem is a send up poem written about the insatiable drive that an over zealous 
  optimist has of self, that possesses boundless energy, and enthusiasm for life, without 
  fully realizing the implications and inherent mistakes that can come about. 
  It encapsulates Youthful exuberance in spades, without the experience that sets a calculus on 
  ones takeup of endeavours. This poem was written by myself sometime ago, and has only now 
  had the opportunity to be spoken of. 
  It incorporates a lot of the famous and the great from the past, in the speakers soliloquy he pits himself as on a par with their greatness and accomplishments.

  Black Bones Red Earth

  An Australian/English historical drama set in the unforgiving landscape of the Australian outback during the 1950s, the story follows the life of Katherine, an English child migrant who is consigned to an austere life on an isolated property beyond Broken Hill. There is little love in Katherine's life until Aboriginal station hands offer their friendship, but love comes at a deadly price. 
  Part two brings listeners to the modern-day English Lake District before taking us back to Australia for the story's climax. Inspired by the true experiences of family and friends closest to the author, Black Bones, Red Earth is a story of hope, love, sacrifice and resilience. 
  Beautifully read by Australian actress, Sandy Gore, star of television, film and stage, this heart wrenching tale is the sometimes harrowing, yet ultimately uplifting story of a child's search for love, and a woman's test of faith. Katherine's journey is an emotional roller-coaster with a deeply satisfying ending.
