  This book is all about the simplicity of our ability as humans to simply be...at ease. Maybe you're on your way to work. Maybe you're soaking in a hot tub-with or without the bubbles. Maybe you're driving on a road trip, or, God forbid, stuck in traffic. Or you're the running sort, headphones or earbuds taking you to another plain of existence as you traverse the miles. Or, maybe, just maybe, you're sitting in silence and letting these words take you on an out-of-body experience. In any of those cases, "Things To Read Before You Sleep" is my first foray into that challenging minefield called poetry. This book gives life and character to both inanimate objects-such as a simple shoe-and scary subjects, like darkness. The metaphysical world of dreaming, and, of course, what would any book of poetry be without addressing that age-old, soul-encapsulating emotion called...love. It may be less than an hour long, but I hope it's a listening journey that takes you wherever it is you'd like to be and leaves you changed forever. I'm currently creating artwork for all of poems in this audiobook. Believe me, it's going to be a thing of beauty. Thank you.
