Synopsis

A top-secret scroll has been leaked and hell is in a panic. 
Minions are commissioned to keep the scroll’s contents from being exposed to humanity. But before they can stop it, the all-important document is downloaded into the soul of one Dr. Elspeth Olson-Sinclair—a best-selling author.  
Unaware of the sinister origins of her latest book, Elspeth is convinced the idea came to her in an epiphany straight from heaven. But as she writes, her personal life erupts into chaos. Her husband is lured away by another woman. Her parents succumb to age and disease. Her brothers are at odds. Her career is under attack. And guilt from her past has resurfaced with a vengeance, threatening to overwhelm her. 	  
When ominous portents appear all around her, Elspeth has to wonder—did the download come from heaven or from someplace else? Someplace dark and sinister that for reasons she cannot fathom is hell-bent on destroying not only her writing but her very being.
