Beschreibung

Brad can't believe his luck when he finds the perfect place to live at the perfect price. It's a pity his new landlord Douglas is such a miserable grump. It isn't long before he wonders if it's a good idea to be living in such close proximity to such a moody ogre.
Fortunately, his life at work is looking up with the arrival of a new employee named Enzo. Brad falls immediately in lust with the hot Italian. They start dating, though it soon becomes apparent there are going to be problems. Enzo starts exhibiting some unlikeable traits and, while Brad finds himself slowly falling in love with the man, he also realizes Enzo has problems not just with commitment, but also with his sexuality.
Brad has a dilemma. Does he persist with Enzo, tolerate his bad behavior, and pray for a miraculous, happy ending? Or will the love he seeks come from an entirely different direction?

Three superheroes in love! Or one superhero, one former sidekick, and one redeemed supervillain, at least.

Ryan, John, and Holiday have been partners -- in every sense of the word -- for two years. They've saved the world, fallen in love, and remodeled the secret base to include bookshelves and a bigger bed.

But Ryan and John have always been the public face of the team. The world still believes Holiday's a villain. And he's been using that reputation to stay undercover and share information. Tonight, though, Holiday comes home injured, and his partners aren't sure the mission's worth his life.

Caution: this story also contains lasagna, superhero theatrics, home renovation, a thunderstorm, and very enjoyable use of superpowers in bed.

Joshua Hansen doesn't believe in anything, except maybe the romance novels he reads about gorgeous men falling deeply in love. So when his small town's interfaith council approaches him to ask if they can hold a weeks-long bake sale outside his convenience store for a fundraiser, Joshua isn't sure what to say. Feeling his apprehension, the council offers him a bribe: they'll bring him free baked goods, and pray in a wide variety of ways to get him a guy like the one on the covers of his books.

Although Joshua isn't one to believe in miracles, and has no interest in carbs, he does want to help those in need in his town, so he accepts their offer. Still, he's not holding his breath for them finding his Mr. Right in this small Virginia town. After all, he's spent years looking for the right guy. What are the chances the council can find him a man in less than a month?

On a snowy Christmas Eve, when he has just about given up all hope, Joshua might need to eat his words, and some rather amazing pasta. When Giorgio Vincenni storms into the store, Joshua wonders if maybe the council's prayers have been heard. Abrasive, well-dressed, and full of attitude, Giorgio looks just like one of those gorgeous mafia men on the cover of the books he loves. Joshua soon finds himself in a confrontation with Giorgio that holds so much sexual tension, they find it leads to something else. Now looking closely at Giorgio, Joshua must ask himself, is this really the type of guy he wants?

Campbell St. Clair never expected her first novel to catapult her to success. She should be excited that she'll be consulting on the movie adaptation, but she's struggling. Her ability to write her newest novel has been practically non-existent, she's all but given up on having a social life, and with the recent loss of her father, she's trying to understand what she wants for her future.

Sloane Murphy's career has been careening forward for the last decade, so it doesn't matter that she doesn't like being an actress. The movie is a great opportunity for her, and in spite of her ambivalence, the show must go on. She's done this enough times that she just needs to follow the script and hit her lines. But she wasn't expecting to see Campbell St. Clair, at least that's what she goes by now, on set, and her presence sends Sloane's already precarious life into a tailspin when their paths collide again.

Neither are the same people they were when they'd met in college, but do either of them know who they are now? In a world of playing pretend, it's hard to know what's real, even if it's right in front of them.
