Marie Francoise Therese Martin, affectionately known as 'The Little Flower', was born on January 2, 1873, in Alencon, France to Louis Martin and Zelie Guerin. She was the youngest and one of five surviving sisters of the nine Martin children. When Therese was 3, her mother died. Louis Martin moved his family to Lisieux to be closer to his late wife's brother and his family. It was there that Therese's sister, Pauline, entered the Carmel at Lisieux on October 2, 1882. Therese at that time also heard the Divine Call to religious life. Therese entered the Carmel on April 9, 1888, after much oppostion to her entering at the age of 15. It was there that she wrote L'Histoire d'une Ame (The Story of a Soul) through obedience. Eventually, Therese's other sisters entered the religious life, one at the Carmel of Lisieux and the other became a Poor Clare at the Visitation Convent at Caen. Therese died on September 30, 1897, at the Carmel of Lisieux of tuberculosis. She was beatified on April 29, 1923 and canonized on May 17, 1925. (Summary written by Ann Boulais.)

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.
Entertaining, empowering, and packed with actionable strategies, this book will inspire you to stop overthinking, start doing, and live a life worth living in the human world—unapologetically your own. It offers tools to transform how you communicate, collaborate, and take action in both your personal and professional life.
The world has shifted toward disconnection, with remote work and remote life becoming the norm. Many of us prefer AI as the answer to everything rather than shaking a hand and saying "HI." While interacting with real people can feel awkward or intimidating, it's also deeply rewarding—if you allow yourself the chance.
Social media algorithms are reshaping our reality, reinforcing disconnection, and reducing meaningful human relationships. As we become more immersed in the digital world, our ability to thrive in the real world diminishes. Self-imposed limitations and fears of failure grow with every scroll, driven by the pursuit of fleeting dopamine hits.
To live a fulfilling life, we must embrace authenticity and show up as our true selves. By using jealousy as motivation, stepping out of our comfort zones, and putting ourselves out there, we can break free from mental barriers. Learning to share and sell our ideas with confidence and focusing on what truly matters reminds us of one essential truth: life is short—make it count.
