  He gets pleased if we offer Durva grass to him. He also loves red Hibiscus flower. He is called the vighnaharta because he wards off all the obstacles in our life. He is also called vighnaraja. There are infinite names to Lord Ganesh which we cannot explain. He ties a snake around his waist.

  Chopin was a romantic era Polish composer. This work is a memoir by Liszt who knew Chopin both as man and artist. This memoir gives a unique understanding to the psychological character of the compositions of Chopin. It also offers Liszt's insight into some of Chopin's polonaises, especially the grand polonaise in F sharp minor. Liszt explains the strange emotion "ZAL" which is inclosed in his compositions. Then, presents a brief sketch on the lives of other great people in Chopin's circle. After that, Liszt discusses Chopin's fame and early life.   Infinite World of Vision: Life...

  This project brings together stories from young people in the United Kingdom living with vision impairments, highlighting their experiences and challenges in transitioning through key life stages. Supported by the University of Bath and funded by Guide Dogs, the project was initiated by Dr. Karin Petrini and Dr. Michael Proulx, alongside Dr. Aikaterini Tavoulari, who brought both clinical and academic expertise.  
  The team collaborated with a diverse group of young people from across the UK, some with additional disabilities, who acted as co-researchers and played a key role in shaping the project's direction. After ten months of collaboration, they decided to create an audiobook, also available in print, to share their stories with a wide audience, including individuals with vision impairments, healthcare professionals, universities, and other stakeholders. 
  The audiobook features powerful, personal accounts of navigating life transitions, such as moving from childhood to adulthood, relocating to a new country, and transitioning to independent living. The stories highlight both the barriers these individuals faced and the support systems and tools that helped them overcome challenges.  
  Ultimately, the project aims to inspire, educate, and connect people, offering insights that could help others facing similar life transitions, while fostering greater understanding for those who engage with individuals with vision impairments.

  In this 2023 conversation with Justine Wilils Toms, podcaster and workshop leader Omkari Williams addresses the question: How do we keep ourselves “in the game” when we become overwhelmed, dispirited, and downhearted by the enormity of needs in today’s challenging times? Williams gives us some powerful suggestions for a sustainable form of activism that she describes as micro-activism. She believes that the size of the action isn’t the point. What matters is that we take regular action. These can be done in a small amount of time and don’t take a huge amount of energy, yet they have a cumulative effect that is disproportionate to the individual effort they require.   The History of The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, a major literary achievement of the 18th century published in six volumes, was written by the celebrated English historian Edward Gibbon. The books cover the period of the Roman Empire after Marcus Aurelius, from just before 180 to 1453 and beyond, concluding in 1590. They take as their material the behavior and decisions that led to the decay and eventual fall of the Roman Empire in the East and West, offering an explanation for why the Roman Empire fell. Gibbon is sometimes called the first “modern historian of ancient Rome.” By virtue of its mostly objective approach and highly accurate use of reference material, Gibbon’s work was adopted as a model for the methodologies of 19th and 20th century historians.
