Synopsis

Jake Adams, morose and distraught, has isolated himself on the frigid island of Iceland during the heart of the Aurora Borealis. Again, he considers retiring and drifting into an alcoholic coma. But then he is summoned back to work for Spanish billionaire and benefactor, Carlos Gomez. Jake doesn't hesitate to help. Young women are disappearing in South America, and Jake now understands how that would impact him if his daughter had been taken. With the help of his old friends, Jake heads to Argentina to take up the search. Jake quickly discovers this case is more than the simple abduction of young women. A shadowy cabal of criminals has built a covert network of corruption that will make the Panama Papers look like the ramblings of a child. Can Jake and friends unravel this sophisticated network and save the girls? Can he also save himself in the process?
