Synopsis

Penguin longs to be as close to the stars as possible, so he decides to make the long journey up the Scrapheap Mountain. Will he make it to the top? 

At Maths Circle, our core purpose is to make children feel confident with maths. 

In Penguin and the Mountain, Penguin perseveres through a long and difficult journey to achieve his goal. This story encourages children to approach problems and obstacles with a proactive mindset and that when setting long-term objectives, it is easier to break them down into manageable steps, and work towards them over time.
