Beschreibung

Bridget is sexy, lusty...and poor. She jumps at the chance to marry a billionaire's son, but there's a catch: She has to provide him with an heir, which means being faithful to her new husband. Temptation and someone irresistible seem to be stalking her. Can the horny hotwife leave her exciting no-holds-barred lifestyle behind?

~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~
More men slowed as they passed and took time to look. When Bridget crossed her legs, she felt the wet pool she'd made beneath her.
"I can take care of that problem for you," he said from her side, his member pointed at her mouth. "I'm Phillip; nice to meet both of you."
Bridget peered up at him as though annoyed. Holding her hand to shade her eyes, she said, "I'm not aware I have a problem."
With a huge grin, Phillip squatted so their eyes met. He reminded Bridget of a cute puppy, except for the manhood she'd glimpsed. "It's your lucky day," he said. "I'm very good with my tongue."
Bridget had to smile back, even as she lightly touched the end of his nose with the tip of her index finger, saying, "Not today, Phillip, now please go away."
Instead of leaving, Phillip held onto Bridget's hand and sucked her finger into his mouth. He looked up at her as he used his tongue to swab her finger sensually.
The erotic sensation traveled up her arm and down her body. It was as though she'd touched a live wire. Maybe he was good with his tongue, but then, so was Abel.
    When Ryan Dennis's father was crushed by heavy machinery on their New York dairy farm, both men accepted the accident as a risk of agricultural life. But it was harder to comprehend being crushed by low milk prices, big banks, and the policies that destroyed America's family farms. Even though Ryan grew up watching his father and grandfather struggle to survive, he always thought he would follow in their footsteps and take over the family farm. But as he milked cows and fed calves, the world outside the barn was changing. Between 2003 and 2020, 40,000 dairy farms went out of business in the United States.Barn Gothic is an elegy for family farmers and an intimate portrait of three generations laboring to be fathers and sons while their livelihood falls apart. Beautifully told with a farmer's restraint and a poet's grace, it is a story of personal loss amid corporate corruption and of finding a way forward when everything you know disappears.
    A raw, often wry, memoir of mothers, mysteries, and miracles.
    Surrendered at birth in a closed adoption, Candi Byrne's biology and ethnicity are a secret. The impending arrival of her first grandchild ignites an urgency to identify potential genetic time bombs and confirm her ancestry. Due to arcane privacy laws, Candi is repeatedly denied access to the one person who could provide that information--her biological mother.
    After years of failed attempts, she resigns herself to never learning the truth about her roots; that is, until her ninety-year-old Aunt Delores has a vision and insists Candi resume efforts to find her birth family. Candi is gobsmacked when an internet search she's performed thousands of times before suddenly reveals her birth mother's identity. Within hours, she ends up on the doorstep of her birth mother--a place she's sworn never to visit.
    After a series of guilt-driven interactions with "Those People," as she refers to her maternal birth family, Candi terminates contact. Although the reunion proves disastrous, it opens her eyes to truths about her relationship with her adoptive mother, Delphine. Though their relationship was difficult and contentious during Delphine's life, a series of miraculous experiences after her death guides Candi home to herself--where, she learns, she has belonged all along.
    St Tammany Parish - L'Autre Cote...
    A good local history is an excellent and agreeable thing. It pleases on two counts. It satisfies the curiosity of the inhabitants of a region, whether newcomers or old settlers, especially if no adequate history had existed before. It dispels myths, corrects old wives' tales. And, if the history is first-rate, it goes beyond a factual account of persons and places, the particularities of a region, and shows the significance of these human happenings in a larger scheme of things, in this case the emergence of a new nation. Ellis's history succeeds on both counts. It is a delightful and authoritative account of lore which not even St. Tammanyites may have heard of. Did you know, for example, that there was once a flourishing wine industry in St. Tammany Parish? That local vineyards produced excellent red and white wines, the red from Concord grapes, the white from Herbemont? Did you know that in 1891 a rice crop of 50,000 barrels was harvested, half the entire output of South Carolina? . . . Ellis has rendered this pleasant and authoritative history in a graceful and lively style and with a genuine affection for the people he writes about. Walker Percy From the Foreword
