Myles's courtroom testimony should have put Pryor, their one-eyed ringleader, behind bars after the bank robbery gone wrong, yet somehow Pryor got off scot-free while Myles served time. Now, upon his release, Myles decides he is done with his life of wrongdoing—a change that will only be possible if he can kill Pryor and turn over a new leaf. Pryor has other ideas, and the collision between these two deadly forces soon leaves the ex-con in critical condition, clinging to life in a hospital bed.

With Myles in recovery, it's up to his girlfriend Penny to avenge her lover and salvage their chance at normalcy. As Pryor and his cronies prepare for their biggest score yet—targeting a vulnerable small-town Ohio bank on a day when Amish farmers arrive with hefty cash deposits—Penny is hot on their heels. But is she prepared for the carnage Pryor will gleefully wreak on the path to his prize?

With characters as sharply drawn as those in a Dennis Lehane novel and a rich Midwestern setting, The End of the Road is a fast-paced rural noir that announces Andrew Welsh-Huggins as one of the most powerful voices in the mystery world.

"Chronicles of the Titans: The Untold Story of the Rise of a Legendary Race" is an enthralling audiobook that unravels the hidden tapestry of our universe's history. This groundbreaking narrative blurs the lines between mythology and reality, offering listeners an unprecedented journey through time and space.
Immerse yourself in a world where Titans once ruled supreme, their origins shrouded in mystery until now. From the primordial depths of the Antediluvian Era to the tumultuous Age of Giants, this epic tale brings to life the rise, reign, and ultimate fate of these legendary beings.
Experience the birth of the Nephilim, those fabled hybrid offspring of fallen angels and humans, whose existence forever altered the course of history. Witness their impact on the ancient world, their role in shaping human civilization, and the divine judgment that led to their downfall.
As the narrative unfolds, listeners will be transported through pivotal moments in cosmic history: the Great Flood, the establishment of the Kingdom of Israel, the Rebellion of Man, and the recurring interventions of supernatural forces in human affairs. The story crescendos with a cataclysmic event that splits universal history into "before" and "after," setting the stage for an even greater conflict - the Great Universal Crusade.
This audiobook is not merely a retelling of ancient myths; it's a comprehensive exploration of the forces that shaped our world and continue to influence it. With a cast of talented voice actors, immersive sound effects, and an original soundtrack, "Chronicles of the Titans" offers an unparalleled auditory experience that will challenge your understanding of history, mythology, and the very nature of reality.

There is something about the number 3.
The Ancient Greeks believed 3 was the perfect number, and in China 3 has always been a lucky number, and they know a thing or two.
Most religions also have 3 this and 3 that and, of course, in these more modern times, three’s a crowd may be too many, except when it’s a ménage à trois. It seems good things usually come in threes.
Whatever history and culture says WE think 3, a hat-trick of stories, is a great number to explore themes and literary avenues that classic authors were so adept at creating.

War broke his spirit. Can a young marine find healing in a world he'll never see the same way again?
The South Atlantic Ocean, 1982. Royal Marine Fletcher Layne never expected to see combat when he enlisted, despite his father's vehement protests. Yet when he is deployed to the tiny Falklands Islands, he figures Argentina wouldn't dare challenge the islands' mighty British sovereignty. But all hell breaks loose over the territorial dispute, and he's devastated when a bullet misses him and kills a young comrade.
Returning home with a heavy heart plagued by guilt, Fletcher resents any celebration of his heroism and his parent's disapproval. And as the traumatized survivor wrestles with two imagined voices of nagging conscience, he fears not even the gentle touch of a kind nurse will get him through to a peaceful tomorrow.
Can he gain ground over his anguish before the darkness drags him down forever?
The Post-War Dream is a gut-wrenching tale of historical wartime fiction, of one man's quest to reclaim his life before the ghosts of the past win. If you like insights into mental illness, vivid depictions of a bygone era, and a dash of romance, then you'll love Brian Paone's poignant story.
