Synopsis

Hounded by paparazzi eager for news of the disastrous surgery that paralyzed her vocal chords, megastar singer Merline Sullivan takes refuge in an antique shop, only to be catapulted hundreds of years into the future. Miraculously, healers fix her vocal cords, but without her loyal fan base, Merline is no longer a superstar, no longer protected, and not at all certain how she’ll navigate the future. 
Two men offer fascinating possibilities. One is the secretive and handsome off-worlder Tomm Jabal, who has been by her side since she appeared out of nowhere on the space station, a man with his own agenda to whisk her to the fringe of the galaxy. The other is the mysterious Dubane Fik, a wealthy entrepreneur who will give her a stage and a path to a singing career once more.
