Synopsis

The one difficulty with having the name Sunshine is that people expect me to be…. well, sunshine all the time.

I have learned over time to embrace the Sunshine-ness that is my name. Yes, I may not always be joyful or exuberant all the time, but I have learned that if I rely on my friends, my family, and my faith, I can conquer each day head-on and live every moment with an expectation of goodness.

And that's what I wanted to share in this book, Be the Sunshine. It's not a book about how to be happy or seven ways to stay positive. These pages are about being yourself, showing the world your true colors, and being mindful of the moment. These chapters contain personal stories so that we all can experience love and joy for ourselves as well as shining that light on those around us!

So, just follow my voice. When it comes to being the sunshine, well, I know the way!

The Corpus Hermeticum is a collection of 17 Greek writings whose authorship is traditionally attributed to the legendary Hellenistic figure Hermes Trismegistus, a syncretic combination of the Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian god Thoth. The treatises were originally written between c. 100 and c. 300 CE, but the collection as known today was first compiled by medieval Byzantine editors. It was translated into Latin in the 15th century by the Italian humanist scholars Marsilio Ficino (1433–1499) and Lodovico Lazzarelli (1447–1500).

Kingdom nuggets presents a quick look into the kingdom of God according to the teachings of Jesus and his disciples. Jesus spent more time in proclaiming the kingdom of God more than any other subjects during his ministry on earth. His top priority was to restore the kingdom of God back to the life of humanity. Hence, Jesus invited people of all walks of life to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus spoke about the kingdom of God to ordinary people including, fishermen, outcast, criminals, tax collectors as well as to prominent people such as the pharisees, lawyers, politicians and wealthy businessmen. Furthermore, Jesus conveyed his message of the kingdom of God to diverse ethnic, gender, cultural, national and age groups. As the book reveals, Jesus emphasized the universality of the kingdom of God through his sermons and parables in every village and town he went. Equally and importantly, the disciples of Jesus took the urgent message of the kingdom of God to the nations of the world where Jesus did not reach with the message of his kingdom. The book takes us on a brief Biblical journey, beginning from the origin of the kingdom of God on earth, its temporary suspension on earth, its restoration and its final consummation on earth.

The messages in this audiobook were delivered at the Third World Convention of Christian Missionary Fellowship International at her headquarters in Koume, Bertoua, Cameroon from 8th to 17th December 2019 to brethren of the Community from 93 nations from six continents. We were gathered to give account to God, thank and celebrate Him who blessed and enabled us to accomplish the Phase 2 goal of our work.
These messages serve as an orientation for the pursuit of the goal, and directives for our work in the next five to seven years. In pursuing these directives as a disciple-making movement, God being our Helper, and by the blessings of the Lord, we expect to be a community in which every member loves the Lord Jesus or returns to the first love for the Lord Jesus.
Our heart cry to the Lord is that these messages would help keep us on the rails and stir us to work hard at accomplishing the goal that we joyously accepted and committed ourselves to before our blessed Lord and Master Jesus Christ.

Cinderella had a prince; Karyn Wallace has a King.

While Karyn served four years in prison for an unthinkable crime, she embraced salvation through Crowns for Christ outreach ministry. After her release, Karyn stays strong and confident, despite the stigma society places on ex-offenders. Since Christ strengthens the underdog, Karyn refuses to sway away from the scripture, "He whom the Son has set free is free indeed."

Levi Tolliver, for the most part, is a practicing Christian. One contradiction is he doesn't believe in turning the other cheek. He's steadfast there is a price to pay for every sin committed, especially after the untimely death of his wife during a robbery. Then Karyn enters Levi's life. He is enthralled not only with her beauty but her sweet spirit until he learns about her incarceration. If Levi can accept that Christ paid Karyn's debt in full, then a treasure awaits him.
