Synopsis

The Season One Omnibus of The Agatha Witchley Mysteries: SECRETS OF THE MOON

Because sometimes, insanity and genius are indistinguishable...

Agatha Witchley used to be a spy in the Cold War, but now she's locked up in the UK's premier maximum-security mental institution. She believes that the ghosts of the celebrity dead visit her padded cell and whisper the world's secrets in her ears. Which is a big problem for the British government, because she's the only one who can help them when an American billionaire is murdered in London in one of the strangest killings yet.

The Home Secretary needs the case locked down and solved before the entrepreneur's death becomes public knowledge and economic chaos ensures.

The woman he has in mind for the job might be paranoid, she might be lethal, she might half-insane and drawing a pension, but it's amazing how you can forgive that in a genius when it's a genius's help you need.

Yes, the security forces need Agatha Witchley again. It's just the ghosts of Churchill, Elvis and Groucho Marx they could do without.

You remember this guy don't you," said the Red Fox slapping the back of a masked magician in a black tux.
"Is he the masked magician?" asked a policeman who was new to the area so had no Idea who this was.
"I never reveal tricks!" the man in black said.
"No he's my nephew Dark Star, " said the Fox.
"Oh, ok one of you!" said the policeman.
"He's going to help on our case," said the Fox.
"I thought the Enchanter and Blue midnight were helping on the case do we need more help," said the policeman.
"Hi dad," Blue Midnight said seeing Dark Star.
"Hi Midnight where is Enchanter I heard he was hereabouts," said Dark Star.
"He's with Astra they are talking to the victim," said Blue Midnight.
"How can they do that he was murdered!" said the police man.
"My great-granddaughter Astra is a medium," said Dark Star.
"I don't believe in them," huffed the policeman.
"And still she is a medium," said Blue Midnight laughing.
"Let's join them there," said the Fox and they went to just Astra and the Enchanter.
"Hello dad, gramps," said the Enchanter seeing them.
    Astra was under.
    "Who?" she asked.
"Oh sorry. wasn't talking to you," the Enchanter said to the ghost,
"Excuse me guys," he said to the newcomers.
"Who killed you?" the Enchanter asked the ghost.
"How should I know I'm dead!" said Astra.
    "Any clues?" asked the Enchanter.
"Yes I heard a bang then I was dead," said Astra.

Life in the Grey Nunnery was first published in Boston, in 1857 by Edward P. Hood, who was credited as the book's editor. It is likely that this account is by Sarah J. Richardson "as told to" Edward Hood, though it may in fact be completely fictional. It is clearly an anti-Catholic book, an example of the genre of fiction referred to as "the convent horror story." As this summary shows, it is not known if this book is fictional or a true account.(Summary by project Gutenberg and Elaine Webb)

Welcome to Cabin Green, where the setting is familiar, but the story is completely unexpected. A terrifying slow-burn that combines the literary Gothic prose of Shirley Jackson, Ambrose Bierce, and Thomas Tryon with the "what's really real?" aspects of The Shining. The Haunting of Cabin Green has also been compared to the devastation of Hereditary and the socially progressive, ambiguous approach of Paul Tremblay.Going to Cabin Green alone after the death of his fiancee was Ben's first mistake. His second mistake was tempting fate by saying, "There's no such thing as an evil building." Now he's caught in a nightmare of his own making deep in the woods of Northern Michigan. Even worse, a family history of mental illness makes it impossible for him to know if the ghosts haunting the cabin are real or all in his head. This modern Gothic horror story takes the listener directly into Ben's hellish experience. Is he crazy? Is a ghost haunting him? The only way to find out is to make it to the end of this deep, dark thrill ride that's filled with more twists than a roller coaster.

Necromancer Lesson #1: Never step into a summoning circle with a goat shifter and a candle.
I’m a costume shop owner, not a demon hunter. My life was supposed to be filled with tequila shots and vintage clothing.
But when I accidentally unleash a demon on Kansas City, the Tribunal labels me a walking menace. Then, they give me a two-week ultimatum—send him back to hell or face the consequences. The only problem? I have no idea how to do that.
I’ve got a goat shifter in my corner. I also have a sexy-as-sin enforcer I need to keep at arm’s length and a necromancer offering a crash course in death magic. However, the more powerful I get, the bigger the target on my back becomes.
I’m about to find out who I can trust and who is determined to kill me.
Threading the Bones is the second book in the Kali James series, featuring a reluctant necromancer who finds herself in a world of werewolves, vampires, and ghosts. If you like your urban fantasy with quirky characters, a side of supernatural mystery, and a dose of slow-burn romance, this series is for you.
