ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK 
In Terry Pratchett's “Thud!”, Commander Sam Vimes of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch finds himself in the midst of growing tension between dwarves and trolls. An assassination in the dwarven community unleashes old hatreds and fears, bringing the city to the brink of a race war.
