Synopsis

Albert has a blueberry problem. He needs $12 to replace the two boxes he greedily ate. When Albert and his best friend Jay try to find a solution, they stumble upon a hidden treasure of old coins in an abandoned farmhouse. After they learn that some of the coins are the valuable three-legged buffalo nickel, they hurry to move them from the farmhouse before someone else finds them. 
But a local developer wants to tear down the house and clear the land to build an office park. Albert's mother wants to demolish the house and use the land to save the endangered hellbender salamander. And Albert's sister Shelly won't leave them alone. 
Will Shelly find out what they're up to? And how do they hide the treasure from two lowlifes bent on stealing it? As the kids struggle to keep their discovery secret, they wrestle with their own sense of right and wrong. Just how good is greed? And can the three-legged buffalo save them?
