Synopsis

In a near-future dystopia, Dr. Aisling Ramsey, a distinguished scientist, is racing against time. Diagnosed with only months to live, she is close to a breakthrough in curing cancer, including her own. Her revolutionary technologies catch the attention of a dictator, who sees them as key to his sinister ambitions. As her lifelong dream of a space-faring humanity slips away, Aisling's journey intersects with Jonas Williams, her business partner whose conservative values often conflict with her own, and Nat Garcia, an estranged retired military veteran and bodyguard whose mother battles cancer. Together, they face a crumbling world, where personal dreams are overshadowed by political schemes. Can Aisling find a way to cheat death and reclaim hope in a world veering towards the abyss?
