Synopsis

Murder in an English Village. An empty nester longing for a quiet life. What could possibly go wrong? 
 
 
 
It's summer in Bliss Bay. Ladybirds have descended upon the village, and event organizer Megan Fallon has a diary as clear as the sky. 
 
 
 
Although her wedding to American fiancé Jack Windsor is a year away, excitement surrounding the biggest event of her life (after the birth of her daughter Evie, of course) is already building, and she's determined that nothing will take the edge off it. 
 
 
 
However, when a visitor to the village is found dead in suspicious circumstances—alone in his rented cottage with all the doors and windows locked from the inside—the police are left scratching their heads. And when Megan's ex-husband and her arch rival find themselves in a situation that leaves them desperate, will she be prepared to forget the past and help them out of a fix?
