Summary

When Cody White's anxiety reaches a breaking point, he's sent to the small town of McAdenville for a quiet escape. Instead, he gets tricked into running a local five-and-dime -- and handed over to the care of Joshua Lee, a gorgeous ex-Marine with a heart as big as his shoulders.
Cody doesn't want a babysitter, even if Joshua is the most attractive man he's ever seen.
Joshua understands Cody's silent struggles better than anyone. He runs to McAdenville every winter to escape his own corporate anxiety and find peace under the holiday lights. Helping a friend's shy son find his footing seems easy enough -- until he actually meets Cody. Suddenly, Joshua's protective instincts kick into overdrive, especially when a predatory local butcher tries to slide his way into Cody's life.
This Christmas, under the glow of a million twinkling lights, two anxious souls might just find the one thing they've been searching for: each other.

“I have counted the days until you would return to my waiting arms, my insistent kisses.
But now I know you never will...”
On a rainy hike by Loch Lomond, Eve Waldman stumbles upon a perfectly preserved journal in a hidden cave. The time-worn lettering details the illicit affair of two Jewish lovers that sent a shiver of shame through a Scottish family — and echoes down the bloodlines.
Born of Highland aristocracy, Mac Monteith prefers to spend his days behind the bar of the family pub, rather than live the life his parents desired for him. Then Eve walks through the door, stirring more than Mac’s long-dormant heart.
When Eve traces the cave documents to the Monteith line, scandals and secrets spill out from all sides. Eve remains committed to the truth, but when being truthful means hurting the man she loves, she is forced to make a bigger choice: righting the wrongs of the past, or building the future she’s yearned for.
A contemporary romance with hints of magical realism, Cave of Secrets is about family heritage, intergenerational trauma, and finding the courage to be honest with ourselves — and those who love us.
“A masterful blend of suspense, romance, and self-discovery, CAVE OF SECRETS is the tale of an intrepid young archivist’s pursuit of history, unveiling a secret love affair and a powerful family’s hidden Jewish roots. Gorgeous prose will bring you to the edge of your seat...” Lisa Williamson Rosenberg, author of Embers on the Wind
"Cave of Secrets is an engaging, thought-provoking read, illustrating the power of courage to unveil past secrets, make tough choices and live an authentic life against all odds." Annie Cathryn, author of The Friendship Breakup

Ethan Sinclair is a stabby little psychopath...emphasis on the little part. After waking up in an underground lab the day after he turned thirteen, Ethan has been subjected to every type of assault and violation. It's not like they consider a werewolf a person in there anyways. Since he doesn't have his teddy bear, Mr. Whiskers, or his big brother Connor to save him, Ethan adapts to survive until his rescue almost eight years later.
Ric Jameson has been the Alpha of his pack for the last five years. He never expected to take over the pack so soon, nor to take over raising his little brother. His biggest regret is the loss of Ethan, Connor's little brother, who died eight years ago. The memory of not being there to prevent the tragedy has guilt eating away at him, and makes him way too overprotective with Jack.
After Ethan is reunited with the pack, both he and Ric need to learn to navigate being around each other again. Dealing with the emotional aftermath of Ethan's captivity and the revelations of the coverup, Ric and Ethan discover there may be more to their connection than what their past indicates. Between Ethan's need for a Daddy and Ric's need to be in control, one would think they'd be a match fated by the Goddess. If only the Goddess hadn't made her deal with Ethan, maybe they'd know.
