Sinossi

"Basil the Child Dreams" shows twenty-two images of the possible dispensation. The author would not advise to treat Basil the Child and his considerations condescendingly. On the other hand, the author would suggest the readers taking Basil the Child very seriously, and, most probably, choosing the time, finding a suitable picturesque location, and considering the possible dispensation on their own. Illustrations by Shasi Martynova. Translated by Max Nemtsov.

Xuanzang and his disciples encountered the leopard demon. The monkey tricked Pigsy into fighting off the demon. The demon returned to the cave and selected three capable goblins to change into his appearance to lure the monkey, Pigsy, and Sandyaway while he kidnapped Xuanzang. The disciples eventually recognized the scheme and found the cave. With a fake skull, the demon and his goblins claimed Xuanzang had been eaten, but the monkey saw through the ploy. The demon tried again with a real severed head, which sent the disciples into tears. When the monkey went to seek revenge on the demon, he discovered that Xuanzang was still alive, so he used sleep bugs to put the demons to sleep while he rescued Xuanzang. He then captured the demon, and Pigsy burned the cave.
