The most prolific contributor to the pulp magazine ‘Weird Tales’, Seabury Quinn is famous for creating the occult French detective Jules de Grandin. The sleuth encounters otherworldly beings such as ghosts, vampires, demons and werewolves, using methods of reasoning and investigation, as well as modern science, to solve his cases. Quinn was an imaginative writer, who penned hundreds of horror, fantasy, thriller and adventure stories for the pulps between the 1920’s and 1950’s.
