Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel is a science fiction novel that tells the story of the discovery of a giant, alien robot and the profound impact it has on humanity. The narrative follows a team of scientists and military personnel as they attempt to understand the robot’s origins and capabilities, piecing together the mystery as more of the robot’s parts are found around the globe. The story explores themes of technological advancement, global politics, and human nature when faced with the unknown. I was in an airport on Dec 23rd 2023. Sitting in the waiting lounge I kind of zoned out for a while just becoming a part of the ebb and flow of the people around me.
All of a sudden this voice coming from me said to me “WE ARE WATCHING OUT FOR AND TAKING CARE OF EVERYONE HERE. THIS IS WHAT WE DO.” The words weren’t really words. It was more of a strong telepathy but this is the essence of what was said.
This experience and my other experiences plus much research has led me to write this book on Spiritual Masters, what they do, and how they help humanity.
There have been a number of writers over the past centuries who have enlightened us on this topic and so I included many of those perspectives because what they say has a lot in common.
Many Spiritual Masters are immortals too and we deal with this issue here also.

Disequilibria: Meditations on Missingness is a hybrid memoir that recounts the 1982 disappearance of the author's stepfather, James Edward Lewis, a pilot and Vietnam veteran. Recounting his family's experiences in searching for answers, Lunday interrogates the broader cultural and conceptual responses to the phenomenon of missingness by connecting his stepfather's case to other true-life disappearances as well as those portrayed in fiction, poetry, and film. In doing so Disequilibria explores the transience in modern life, considering the military-dependent experience, the corrosive effects of war, and the struggle to find closure and comfort as time goes by without answers.

    ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"The Coddling of the American Mind" by Greg Lukianoff and Jonathan Haidt explores the rise of safetyism on college campuses and its impact on students' mental health and critical thinking skills. The authors delve into the emergence of a culture that prioritizes emotional safety over intellectual engagement, examining the influence of three "Great Untruths" on this trend. They discuss how the i.Gen, with their extensive social media use and exposure to constant social comparison, experiences heightened rates of anxiety and depression. The book analyzes how paranoid parenting and the decline of free play have contributed to students' fragility. Additionally, the growth of campus bureaucracy is explored, revealing how overregulation inadvertently reinforces the idea that students are weak and unable to manage conflicts on their own. The authors propose solutions for cultivating resilience and encouraging intellectual exploration in young people.
