Synopsis

Ucchista Ganapati is the 8th form among the 32 forms of Lord Ganesha, revered in Hinduism as the embodiment of abundance, power, and divine grace. The name "Ucchista" refers to remnants or leftover offerings, symbolizing purification and spiritual transformation. This form is often depicted in a unique posture, seated with a consort on his lap, signifying the unity of divine masculine and feminine energies. 
Ucchista Ganapati holds a pomegranate, veena, lotus, and rosary in his hands, symbolizing creativity, wisdom, prosperity, and devotion. He is also associated with tantric practices and is considered a deity who bestows material and spiritual wealth, removes obstacles, and aids in achieving higher knowledge. Worship of Ucchista Ganapati emphasizes purity of intention, control of desires, and the integration of spiritual and material pursuits.
