Synopsis

Yiyoung Yoon has always fought for everything she’s had. With her family struggling under her mother’s illness and her father’s job loss, she learns early that success is earned, not given. A full-ride scholarship to a prestigious school gives her a glimpse of a life she’s always dreamed of, but the world of privilege and ruthless ambition soon shows her the cost of her dream.
 
In that world, there’s Muyeol Cha—a loner with a cold heart hiding a darker secret. As they grow closer, Yiyoung learns not everything is as it seems.
 
Years pass. Life pulls them apart. But a promise they made binds them together. Now, thirteen years later, Muyeol returns to claim what was once promised, and the past resurfaces.
