Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin was born on the 30th August 1797 in Somers Town, London.

Her mother, the famous feminist philosopher, educator, and writer Mary Wollstonecraft died when Mary was only 11 days old and she was raised by her father, the philosopher, novelist, journalist, and perpetually in debt, William Godwin.

Though Mary received little formal education her father taught her a broad range of subjects and added to her bright and curious personality she easily absorbed a good and broad education.

In July 1814, after conducting a secret affair with the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, who had earlier promised to pay off yet another round of her father’s business debts, the pair eloped to France. Within two months, penniless and pregnant they returned to England.

Her husbands’ affairs caused her frequent heartbreak but despite all the travails, including the loss of her own child, Shelley’s recent inheritance gave them the opportunity to journey again to Europe.

It was here that ‘Frankenstein’ was born and established Mary’s own name in literature.

Her life hereafter was plagued with loss; the death of two further children and then her husband in a boating accident. Her writing continued through novels, travel pieces and biographies. Her short stories, some based in Europe, tackle difficult situations and genres as well the obstacles that women were burdened with in society. Her editorship of her late husband’s poetry was also widely praised.

Mary’s radical politics continued to guide her journey throughout her life but, by 1840, illness had begun to haunt her years, depriving her of energy and vigour.

Mary Shelley died on the 1st February 1851, at Chester Square, London of a suspected brain tumour. She was 53.

Chairman of the board Worth Carson had been none too pleased when beautiful Amelia Glenn walked into his office wearing only a trench coat and belly-dancer costume. While revenge had been the primary goal in Worth’s mind as he sought out the mystery woman, all thoughts of getting even soon vanished.

A free spirit who couldn’t resist a dare, Amelia didn’t know that baiting a man like Worth was rather like baiting a grizzly bear. Or guess that a tiny misunderstanding with the police and getting fired from her job were both part of an unorthodox strategy to get her into his lair . . .

A second chance ten years in the making When Andi Scott left her hometown ten years ago, she swore she’d never go back. But news of her estranged father’s death has her driving the all-too-familiar roads. Each turn brings another memory—of the girl she became there and the boy she loved and lost. The only saving grace is that there’s no way Corey Johnson, the former love of her life, is still around. They both got out, even though it cost them everything. Andi’s barely in town for a day when she discovers that not only is Corey still in Fairford, but he’s the cofounder of a successful local business, one he built with her father. The news shatters the walls Andi built around her past and forces her to reexamine everything she thought she knew. When Corey asks Andi to stay in town, she can’t refuse his boyish grin or the way he still looks at her as if she’s the only person in the room. And she doesn’t want to. Corey’s still the same person who made the worst day of her life better with one crooked smile, but there’s something he’s not telling her. Andi has to know what it is, even if it means opening her heart to the person who broke it in the first place.

Achievement unlocked. One wrong move, and it’s game over.
Private detective Winter Black finally knows the identity of the puppeteer behind the recent string of murders she’s been entangled in investigating—the same man who’s been stalking and tormenting her for weeks. But when he leaves recent photographs he took of her and Noah, her husband’s eyes scratched out, his vendetta becomes frighteningly real. And terrifyingly personal.
    Because Noah is missing.
The nightmare becomes disturbingly real when Noah’s wedding band is placed on Winter’s doorstep, accompanied by a taunting note written in cryptic, video game jargon. The instructions? A deadly scavenger hunt, with Noah’s life hanging in the balance. Refusing to play isn’t an option.
Her mission: find her husband before it’s too late.
As Winter dives headfirst into the puppeteer’s sinister game, other unwilling players emerge, their fates as uncertain as Noah’s. Every clue leads her deeper into a labyrinth of danger, each wrong move tightening the noose around the man she loves. The stakes couldn’t be higher: solve the puzzle or lose Noah forever.
The mystery and suspense continue with Winter’s Maze, the eighth book in the Winter Black Season Two series. The game is far from over. In fact, it’s only just begun.

Don't fall in love with your bandmate's girl.
It's an unspoken rule, and one I'm determined to follow. I've always been the guy to take the high road, to be the voice of reason, but when it comes to Jess, I'm tired of fighting this overwhelming attraction.
The more time we spend together, the more compelled I am to show her she's worthy of love and dreams of her own. The lines of my moral compass begin to blur. I should leave her alone, but I can't. I know it's wrong, but everything about us feels so right.
Despite everything I try, it doesn't change the truth. She's not mine.
I can't sit back and watch her love someone else. But if given the choice, will she even want me?
The titles in the Off Track Records series are interconnected stand-alone romance novels and can be listened to in any order.
