Synopsis

The Golden Cub is an epic family adventure set in the 1800's  and based on a true story. An Irish Landowners son travels to South Africa with his wife and young child, only to disappear without trace. Reports of a white child living with a remote Tribe reach the family and they send his younger brother to locate and recover the young boy. The Brother's girlfriend, from a poor family, runs away with him to Africa and helps in his daunting search. Colorful characters, grand adventures and the vast African landscape await, in this emotional and brilliantly narrated novel.
