Beschreibung

The Writings of a Political Prisoner, Rebel, and Climate Truth-Teller

For six years, Roger Hallam has written relentless, unfiltered analyses of the climate crisis, civil resistance, and the collapse of our political systems. These are the articles corporate media refused to publish—because they expose the lies of governments, the failures of politics, and the raw truth about what it takes to win.

Collected for the first time, 50 Articles The Media Wouldn’t Publish is a firebrand manifesto for those who refuse to look away. From the founding of Extinction Rebellion to the imprisonment of civil resistors, Roger lays out the case for radical nonviolent revolution with the clarity and urgency that have made him one of the most controversial voices in modern activism.

Whether you're an organizer, a concerned citizen, or simply searching for answers in an age of ecological and political breakdown, this book will challenge you, move you, and demand that you act.

Read it now—before it’s too late.

Reviews of Roger's Previous Book, Common Sense for the 21st Century

“Brilliant: wise, profound and persuasive. If you want to understand Extinction Rebellion, or how to change the world, read it.”– George Monbiot, columnist at The Guardian, author and activist.

“This is not just an argument, it is an instruction manual for ripping through the corruption and complacency that will destroy our planet.”– Paul Mason, author of Clear, Bright Future: A Radical Defense of the Human Being

“[Roger] provides a blueprint for people who are sick and tired of the futility of civil discourse in combating the climate catastrophe. We hope this film inspires people to embrace radical tactics and actions that bring about real change. Our very existence depends on it.”– Rooney Mara & Joaquin Phoenix

“Is Common Sense for the 21st Century the best hope we’ve got to prevent human extinction? Yes, I think it is.”– Dr Alexandra Jellicoe, environmental engineer and scientist, Monkey Wrench

“[Roger] has a lot of integrity and charisma,”– The New Yorker

“Hallam… is widely seen as the driving force behind [Extinction Rebellion’s] tactics, [and] recommends that activists emulate past movements like the United States civil rights movement and the Yellow Vests in France.”– The New York Times

Ideas build and destroy civilizations. Things are not going well. The need for action is now. After thousands of years of human development, our humanity seems to be intent upon disassembling itself with WOKE, Politically Correct thought police, rejected lessons from history and art, ‘book burning’, minorities DICTATING how we live and what we MUST think, riots, homelessness or helplessness and political polarizations with open conflicts and theft in our streets. How to revitalize harmonious existence, individual respect, laws equally for us all, and spirituality either via religion or constructive logic. So to create the conditions for cooperative, harmonious, self-disciplined inter-personal life: a return to greater stability of both mind and action working together for the good of communities and an increasingly interdependent World Social Family.
This building and rebuilding process will take generations, the current alternative will be humanity’s exit which would be both painful and permanent. This need not be. We each can learn so confidently form a renewal of our children’s real future but only by rebuilding our thought processes, awareness, and understanding with and through calm debate, discussion, and sharing of mind.
Industry, agriculture, and the use of both people’s time and natural abilities matter greatly: smaller could well be far more beneficial. Creating public demand to raise output and income too often leads to waste and even harm while generating wealth for a minority, too many of whom are amoral or undeserving.
What is reality other than what we decide it to be? All stems from family upbringing, mental inputs and experiences; educational practices, understood beliefs, the free flow of ideas; respecting other's thoughts, and community actions, which all coalesce into formed concepts and so beliefs. These and more build our minds, humour, fears and needs. These are the very Bricks that Build Us

In the past, one of the most cherished American values was the truth. When people dealt with dilemmas, issues, opinions, and decisions, their first question was “What is the truth in this situation?” Now people are concerned only with what they think, feel, and want.
We have lost touch with the importance of truth in our lives. This reality has resulted in a society in abject turmoil and confusion.

Perhaps the greatest failure of the American school system is in turning out generations without the ability to carefully think through what they see, read, and hear. This book is the path for our return to truth.

When a seven-million-vote margin of victory and 306 electoral votes pointed to Joe Biden as the victor in the 2020 Presidential Election, Trump-fueled conspiracy theories exploded.

In The Big Truth, CBS's Chief Washington Correspondent Major Garrett and the nation's foremost elections expert David Becker completely upend The Big Lie that has infected the Far Right with firsthand stories of election officials like Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Bucks County, Pennsylvania, election director Thomas Freitag. And they reveal the concrete evidence proving that 2020 may have been the most secure US election ever. But Garrett and Becker go beyond the key players from all six swing states, the pre-election litigation that clarified the rules for both parties, and the fully auditable and verifiable ballots used. They lay bare the methods being undertaken right now to undercut faith, belief, and effectiveness of elections, identifying the places where the most dire actions have been taken since 2020—where election laws have been changed; or election officials been hounded out of office, retired out of frustration/fatigue, or been replaced by pro-Trump political figures.

In his groundbreaking new book, Counterpunch, Floyd G. Brown issues both the battle cry and a strategic action plan for a populist movement in America that goes beyond any president or political party. Issue by issue, the Left chooses new markers in the sand and waits to see who will embrace their agenda. Those who don' t are canceled and silenced. This leads to alienation and the feeling that violence is the only option left. Brown wants readers to know there is another way, a civil disobedience of the state that allows us to be peaceful— and potentially more successful. Counterpunch explains step-by-step how you can take part in a second American Revolution that will completely reorder the country under new governing principles. Touted as the Christian answer to Saul Alinsky' s Rules for Radicals, Brown' s Counterpunch outlines a strategy for mobilizing a peaceful resistance that leads to collective action. Utilizing an evergreen approach that isn' t focused on specific public policy issues, Floyd delivers a practical, biblically based plan for every American that will lead to the renewal of liberty.

Creating a Nation That Is Fair for Us All
Cindy Mathers has experienced firsthand the impact of our traumatised, fragmented and broken systems on First Nations people, and indeed us all. She has been mentored by and worked collaboratively with First Nations people for over two decades, learning through respect, deep listening, and truth telling.
After repeated experiences of burnout, she began searching for solutions outside of current systems. Through personal and ancestral healing, extensive research, and study, she learned that the disrespect and disregard of human rights of the First Nations people at the time of colonization created wounds that remain in our collective psyche and are passed down through generations.
In DELVE-ing into Cultural Humility, Mathers shares a learning pathway forward, based on respect and deep listening. She created the DELVE formula as a collaborative way to implement change in our nation:
    ●       Deconstruct—how did we get here as a nation?
    ●       Explore—the impact of abuse of Human Rights on us all
    ●       Listen—and learn, with deep presence to the stories of First Nations people
    ●       Viable—what First Nations-led / collaborative initiatives are working?
    ●       Energise—what works and fund community-led, place-based initiatives
In these pages, you will see a snapshot of what is possible when we engage the DELVE formula. By applying this pathway to her real-life projects and experiences, Mathers has created a succinct and practical resource for those who wish to learn Cultural Humility and become part of creating a new nation that respects the Human Rights of all.
