A never-before-heard firsthand account of a government insider's experience on the cutting edge of UFO exploration; includes a new afterword"Forget everything you think you know about UFOs - this insider's account exposes the reality... Packed with top grade information, insightful analysis and fascinating anecdotes, Alexander's interesting and controversial book sets the gold standard for titles on this subject." –Nick Pope, author of Open Skies, Closed Minds"Changes the playing field for both true believers and skeptics alike. Alexander strongly warns, be careful what you wish for when asking for presidential intervention. Success could set the field of ufology back decades." --George Noory, host of Coast to Coast AMWhile still on active duty in the U.S. Army during the 1980s, Colonel John B. Alexander, Ph.D. created an interagency group to explore the controversial topic of UFOs. All members held Top Secret clearance. What they discovered was not at all what was expected. UFOs covers the numerous cases they saw, and answers questions like:• What was really in Hanger 18? • Did a UFO land at Holloman Air Force Base? • What happened at Roswell? • What is Majestic 12? • What is the Aviary? • What does the government know about UFOs? • What has happened with disclosure in other countries? • Has the U.S. reverse engineered a UFO? • Why don't presidents get access to UFO info? UFOs is at once a complete account of Alexander's findings, and a call to action. There are no conspiracy theories here—only hard facts—but they are merely the beginning. Foreword by Jacques F. Spies are a feature of countless works of fiction in which they often discover secrets on which the fate of nations hang in the balance. Reality is generally rather more mundane, as spies often gather low-level intelligence that only makes sense when it is examined by analysts and compared to information from other sources. Espionage provides clues to what the enemy is planning, but on its own, it rarely changes the course of a war. Moreover, real spies are generally anonymous, not the bold, swashbuckling action heroes depicted in fiction. Spies must hide in plain sight, and that is best achieved by being as innocuous as possible.
However, there are exceptions. Occasionally, a spy will be so successful that they are able to place themselves in a position where they have access to information at the highest levels, secrets that really can change the course of world events. Sometimes, these spies may even be as handsome, charming, charismatic, and bold as their fictional counterparts.
One such spy was a man named Richard Sorge. Experiencing the horrors of World War I at first-hand turned Sorge into an ardent communist, after which he worked as a spy for the USSR in Germany, China, and Japan before and during World War II. He obtained vital military and political secrets and maintained his cover for over nine years despite frantic searches for the spy who was leaking information to Russia. His effortless charm meant that he didn’t need to steal secrets: people told him willingly, including the many women that he seduced.

Can the faith in God that most Americans share help us out of the political mess we're in?

As both a religiously observant person and a veteran of forty years in elective office, Senator Joe Lieberman is uniquely prepared to answer this question. In fact, he is the first person with political experience to pose and answer such a question in response to the current crisis of political division and governmental dysfunction in America.

Lieberman breaks down the causes of our political problems—including partisanship, incivility, and refusal to compromise—and then describes what the monotheistic faith that Christians, Jews, and Muslims share calls on us to do to overcome those problems.

He directs this appeal to members of Congress and the White House; leaders of the news and entertainment industry, who have such a large influence on our values and political behavior; and members of the clergy, who need to be leaders of a new Religious Awakening in America.

This book will provide a totally different way to look at American politics and government. It will open your mind and heart and give you hope for a better, more united future for our country.

There are many challenges in the teenage years. Young people often feel pressure to achieve at school. They struggle to negotiate social intricacies. They battle to understand and deal with their own internal emotional world.
And, on top of all this, they ponder how they will carve out their future.
Teen Time is written for teenagers. Topics of interest are easily selected and the reader is encouraged to consider a range of perspectives for situations they find challenging.
Covering a wide range of issues presented frequently in counselling sessions by 13-17 year olds, Teen Time invites teenagers to make time for self-reflection, and to consider alternative possibilities, rather than acting on impulse. It encourages them to choose how they want to be in every area of their life.
Helen Middleton, a psychologist in private practice, draws on her extensive experience in working with young people as a teacher, secondary school Guidance Officer, gestalt and family therapist. She addresses the hopes and concerns commonly expressed by teenagers. This user-friendly guide is judgement-free, practical, and relatable.
Because it details the many issues confronting teenagers, Teen Time is also a valuable resource for parents, teachers, beginning counsellors, social workers, and youth workers.
    About the Author
Helen Middleton gained a Master’s degree in Education Studies in 1993, and worked as a Guidance Officer in Queensland schools for 15 years. During this time she continued her studies and completed a post-graduate training program in family therapy. She became a Registered Psychologist and completed a second Master’s degree in 2006 in Gestalt Therapy. The same year, Helen moved to Hobart and worked in EAP programs and in private practice. Missing work with young people, she took on regular days at Headspace in 2009, working with 12–26 year olds.
