Synopsis

Mukohda is finally able to leave the dungeon! But it’s out of the frying pan and into the fire, as now he’s stuck dealing with his rewards for reaching the bottom, reporting back about the dungeon, appraising and selling loot, and generally getting more attention than he ever wanted. This feeling is only compounded by another effect of clearing the dungeon: his own personal growth. A mysterious new expansion to his skill has the gods and goddesses up above more enthusiastic about mooching off of him than ever.

It might be a stroke of luck, therefore, that a certain furry familiar of his is just about fed up with cramped city life. Could it finally be time to move on from Karelina and head to the ocean like they had long been planning? Maybe, but you can be sure there’ll be complications along the way for Mukohda and friends!

The Devoted Friend by Oscar Wilde was first published in 1888 in the anthology The Happy Prince and Other Tales.
Hans was a little man who owned a beautiful garden, where he grew flowers of all kinds and colours which were sold in the market to make some money. He enjoyed the company of another man called Hugh, a
miller who used to visit Hans very often during the summer time and with whom he shared thoughts about friendship and loyalty.
However, when winter came, Hans found himself in a very difficult situation, as his flowers wouldn't flourish anymore until the following spring, meaning that he was impoverished, living on a simple diet of a
    few pears or hard nuts.
Meanwhile, the miller lived comfortably in his own house, and avoided visiting his friend or helping him in any way not to make him jealous and spoil, if not break, their friendship.
After winter, when Hans' flowers are blooming, Hugh visits Hans with a basket to get flowers. Upon hearing Hans' story, Hugh promises to give Hans his wheelbarrow, which is falling apart and not even usable. In return for this 'gift,' Hugh guilts Hans into working for him day in and day out, selling his flour, mending his roof, and even going to get the doctor for Hugh's sick son.
On the way back from this last errand, Hans gets lost and dies. Hugh gives himself a prominent place at Hans' funeral, promising never to give anything away again, since the wheelbarrow (which he never gave to Hans) was so much trouble.

He is the law—and you better believe it!

Judge, jury, and executioner, Judge Dredd is the brutal comic book cop policing the chaotic future urban jungle of Mega-City One, created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra and launching in the pages of 2000 AD in 1977.

But what began as a sci-fi action comic quickly evolved into a searing satire on hardline, militarized policing and "law and order" politics, its endless inventiveness and ironic humor acting as a prophetic warning about our world today—and with important lessons for our future.

Blending comic book history with contemporary radical theories on policing, I Am The Law takes key Dredd stories from the last forty-five years and demonstrates how they provide a unique wake up call about our gradual, and not so gradual, slide towards authoritarian policing.

From the politicization of policing to "zero tolerance," from violent suppression of protest to the rise of the surveillance state, I Am The Law examines how a comic book warned us about the chilling endgame of today's "law and order" politics.

Mojave Madness by E. Hoffman Price narrated by Mike Vendetti is a spicy mystery that was published in “Spicy Mystery Stories” a pulp magazine in July 1937. In today’s publishing world it could be considered a mystery story with soft porn.
“To Ray and Linda it all sounded like a trick to keep them from getting married. But you can’t reason with a madman… And at the things they found in the desert with him. They almost believed they were mad too!”

"The Picture of Dorian Gray" is Oscar Wilde's classic tale of the moral decline of its title character, Dorian Gray.
The story revolves around a portrait of Dorian Gray by Basil Hallward, an artist impressed and infatuated by Dorian's beauty
When Dorian has his portrait painted by Basil Hallward and wishes that he would stay young while his picture changes, his wish comes true. In exchange for this Dorian gives up his soul and as he ages the bad deeds that he commits are reflected in his painting and not him.
Dorian pursues a libertine life of varied amoral experiences while staying young and beautiful; all the while, his portrait ages and records every one of Dorian's sins.
The Picture of Dorian Gray was considered quite scandalous when it was first published in the late 1800s in Victorian England.
